Tefillin
All of our tefillin are made in Israel under the close supervision of Pe’er HaStam, which has two decades of expertise in the field and a sterling reputation in Bnei Brak and beyond.
Tefillin Peshutim – 100% Kosher
Pe’er HaStam is well aware of the pitfalls in tefillin making, both in writing the parchments and constructing the boxes, but by carefully selecting the sofrim (scribes) they with and closely overseeing the production process, they are able to make tefillin – including tefillin peshutim – that are 100% kosher, at very affordable prices.
Pe’er HaStam tefillin are certified by Mishmeret HaStam. The parchments undergo a computer check followed by a manual check by expert parchment proofreaders (magihim).

Our Tefillin Peshutim set comes with a computer scan certificate from Mishmereth STaM and a certificate ranking the quality of the parchments. The battim (boxes) are made of lightweight goat hide. Attractive finishing work. Ideal choice for bar mitzvah tefillin or first-time tefilin buyers.

Tefillin Gassot
Tefillin Gassot (“thick phylacteries”) are made out of a single piece of thick cowhide leather shaped by repeatedly applying several tons of pressure in industrial presses as part of a complicated, but delicate and exacting production process. The resulting battim (“houses”) are so thick and durable that they can be reshaped even if damaged.
