Born in Jerusalem, Rabbi Eliron Chakshur studied at Yeshivat Oz Meir, and later received smicha from Torah luminary Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu zt”l, as well, Rabbi Shimon Elitov shlita and Rabbi Naftali Roth shlita..

He made aliya in 1980 and soon started working at a tefillin manufacturer in Beit El, where he was eventually promoted to production manager.

20 years experience selling kosher tefillin

Rabbi Chakshur has been selling quality kosher tefillin and mezuzah scrolls for years. Sofrim constantly come to him to show him the quality of their work. With such vast experience in sofrus, he knows exactly how much their level of writing is worth, which translates into optimal value for his customers.

“I don’t just glance at a few words,” he says. “I look for consistency throughout. If he’s relatively new to sofrus, but his writing impresses me, I may invest in him. I analyze his work closely and assess whether he can perfect his writing.”

Quality kosher tefillin, plus value

Rabbi Chakshur’s expert scrutiny means the end customer is getting the best quality for his money, at whatever level of hiddur he chooses – Tefillin Peshutim Mehudarim or Tefillin Gassot. Each set is available with either Ashkenazi or Sephardic writing and battim, as well as various strap options.

Rabbi Chakshur’s tefillin production is certified by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.
