Yair Emanuel challah covers collection

We just added a dozen fabulous and very affordable challah covers designed by Yair Emanuel, who is known for his use of vibrant colors and bold motifs, including Jerusalem scenes, pomegranate vines, patchwork patterns and floral designs.

Yair Emanuel Jerusalem motif tallit coverMy wife is fond of the Jerusalem motifs, and the Jerusalem arch design (shown right) is indeed quite popular. In our own home we have a linen challah cover, which holds up quite well and has an understated beauty. I also like the wheat stalk designs and the Seven Species.

Some designs are available in various color schemes to fit your dining room decor.

If you prefer a more conservative, formal look, you’ll probably want to stick with velvet. Keep in mind that prices vary considerably, based on the overall size, the quality of the velvet fabric used, the level of stitching and finishing work, the caliber of the embroidery work and any ornamental elements that may be added on.
